The Carrier Pigeon app for iPhone and iPad

Carrier Pigeon is one button Dropbox file creation so that you can kick-off Hazel actions on your Mac. By using Carrier Pigeon, Dropbox and Hazel together, you can suddenly gain one-tap power over your home computer from wherever you are in the world.

Sometimes you need to start an app on your Mac when youre away from home. Or close an app. Or see whats going on with the long transfer or render you have running. The only options up to now were to use VNC-like full screen apps on your iPhone, struggling with slow controls when all you wanted to do was one little thing.

With Carrier Pigeon, you press one button on your iPhone and a file is created in your Dropbox with the name you specified for that button. Your home Mac will be updated with the new file. Hazel, running on your Mac, will then perform an action or run an Applescript. Simple and effective.
